Hi there, i think its time for me to find new game, now, i like philosophy that GW set up and whenver i try another mmo or another game, they just look so ... inadequate.

Features i am looking for:

* Lack of "easy way out" grind. Basically, grinding +X hours should not enable player to pass hard part without thinking (i.e. instance being hard for you made easy by gaining couple of levels.)
* Lack of empasis on repetitive goals. Be it crafting, reaching level cap or just raising some obscure number to reach higher power.
* Lack of empasis on high power equipment. ideally, newbie and veteran should have equipment on nearly same power.
* Lack of serious PvP. either no pvp at all or pvp that is acted on by devs like it was red headed step child. (you know, if people compain someting is imba in pvp, making it even more imba and similar stuff)

* No levels/Low level cap - basically, most of game designed to be endgame area in some sense. Player able to beat crap out monster in newbie area not because it has few hitpoints, but because it is designed to have very very bad build, otoh, elite area mob designed to bet crap out of player because it has fine tuned build making usuall tactics useless.
* Rich skill system - skills that combine, work together, never become obsolete (like warrior still having use for sever artery at highlevel places, even thou it is basic skill.), counters and countercounters, etc.
* Rich equipment system - while they will be no uber item, one being able to get max out of gear by certain combinations (and i am not talking about sets from d2 or something) and customizations.
* Grind giving player more options (more different skills/items to combine), not more power
* Zero-cost respecing of character.

* Instant map travel.
* Customizable visuals. Item stats unrelated to its look, post-creation character editing (name, looks.)
* NO kill X of critters quests at all.
* AI to help out when human players are unavaiable.

you want a single player adventure/rpg game, maybe jade empire, star wars: knights of the old republic, or final fantasy.

Boy, I wish I could find a game that had exactly everything I've ever wanted from games and life all rolled into one!

This is totally unrealistic to expect from anything.

Yeah, i know i want guildwars.

But seriously, is there no other similar game?

I have high hopes for The Chronicles of Spellborn (played in beta and liked what i saw, shame i have pc that cant handle it well, so i had to quit).

But i dont know any other game that tries similar stuf.

Guild Wars shuold be your first choice just because #1 its free, and there are so many great things about the game that make it so fun to play!
but if you insist on finding another game then you should check out some linage 2 private servers... that game is pretty sweet and i think you would enjoy it if you liked playing guild wars!

My current replacement for guild Wars is Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I know its been out for a few years now, but my old comp kept crashing when i play it

. I ve also recently gotten back into SC and Half Life 2.

There is no such game, but you may try Fury. This is a game developped by one of the designers of Guild Wars. It is purely PvP.
